400m distance starts are all mass starts, separately for girls and boys of each age group. Start groups are marked with a coloured dot sticker on the race number.

830m and 1500m distance starts are rolling starts with 6 participants starting after every 12 seconds.
830m distance is for girls and boys of age group U10. On 1500m distance age Groups will start in the order: U16, U14, U12. There will be a 2-minute break after each age group. Exact start times will be confirmed after the end of online registration.

registration and participation fees

Registration for IRONKIDS Tallinn is open online at https://iseteenindus.triatloniakadeemia.ee until August 18, 2026 (inclusive). On-site registration and material distribution will take place on August 19 from 14:00 to 19:00 and on August 20 from 10:00 to 18:30 at Rocca al Mare centre.

The participant is registered for the competition after paying the participation fee. The time of payment (not the time of registration) is the basis for calculating the participation fee.
By registering, the parent/guardian confirms that they are responsible for their child’s/ward’s health condition and agrees that the organizer is not responsible for any health damage or loss of personal property incurred by the participant.
Transferring participation to someone else is not allowed. The organizer reserves the right to refuse the registration of a competitor if deemed appropriate. In the event of cancellation of the event due to reasons beyond the control of the organizers (force majeure), the participation fee will not be refunded.

courses

The running courses are on the road near Rocca al Mare centre and Unibet Arena.

catering

Water will be offered to competitors at the finish.

timing

Electronic timing is used at IRONKIDS Tallinn 830m and 1500m distances, which can only be guaranteed with a correctly attached timing chip from start to finish. Timing is done with a chip attached to the back of the start number. Removing the chip and folding the number is strictly prohibited. The number must be attached to the chest and must be visible throughout the competition from start to finish. When crossing the start and finish lines, the competitor must not cover the number with their hands, otherwise the result may not be recorded.

NB! There is no timing for the 400m distance!

participants limit

The participant limit for IRONKIDS Tallinn is 1800 participants for all races combined.

award ceremony

The top three in the 830m and 1500 m age classes will be awarded with prizes, and diplomas (electronically downloadable) will be given to all finishers. To receive the prize, it is mandatory to participate in the award ceremony. If the competitor cannot participate in the award ceremony, their coach or representative may come to receive the prize. There will be no later distribution of prizes.

The award ceremony will take place at 19:15 at Unibet Arena.

medical aid

The organizer ensures the presence of a medical point in the competition centre during the competition.

lost and found

Found items are collected at the competition info desk at Unibet Arena, where they can be collected until August 23rd. After August 23rd, please send inquiries about lost and found items to e-mail: sideevents@triatloniakadeemia.ee. The organizer stores found items for 7 days after the end of the competition.  

parking and traffic

Participants and spectators can park near the Rocca al Mare center. Compliance with the instructions of the police, judges, and traffic controllers is mandatory both when parking and during the competition.  

organizer’s rights

The organizers have the right to use photos and videos taken by the organizers at the competition. The organizer has the right to make changes to the guide. All changes to the competition guide will be announced on the competition website: www.triatloniakadeemia.ee.
